2025 Camry SE questions Wired CarPlay plus SmartKey

I just got a 2025 Camry SE FWD since my old '07 Accord finally quit on me. I have a couple of questions,can I use a USB-A to Lightning cable for wired Apple CarPlay? Also, I saw that it has SmartKey for the trunk and push-button start, but not for the front doors. Is that normal?

Congrats on the new camry and yep, you can use a USB A to lightning cable for carplay as long as it's not some cheap knockoff. I'd recommend sticking with an apple certified one to avoid weird disconnects.
And about the smartkey yeah, kinda odd but that's how toyota rolls with some trims. The SE fwd doesn't always get full keyless entry on all doors, just the driver's door and trunk

Just got my first Camry XLE and trying to figure out all the tech. does the passenger door unlock with touch too, or just the driver's side? I wasn't sure if mine was acting up or if that's normal for the trim.

Right, and on that trim, its normal for the SmartKey to work with the trunk and push-button start but not unlock the front doors, that feature is reserved for higher trims.
