Brake service is still a while off for me, tho Im just wondering, do Toyota hybrids require a different procedure due to regenerative braking, maybe even a dealer only service? Haven't found a recent service manual, so if anyone has experience with hybrid brake maintenance, please let me know..

Yeah, the regenerative braking is a quirk. It has to be maintained real good and you gotta do regular brake fluid changes and caliper pin/pad inspections so you won't have problems with corrosion. You don't have to bring it to the dealer every time. Damn, I actually lack the time, should have read more about it before buying. But welp, I guess i gotta make some arrangements then.
