I've always leaned toward big trucks and V8s, but late last year I picked up a 2021 Camry with around 18,000 miles on it as a second car. Didn't expect much... I just needed something comfortable and better on gas for longer trips.
Fast forward to now and I'm blown away. Took it on a road trip from Denver to Santa Fe and back. The car handled mountain roads, crosswinds, and semis like the winner that it is. I filled up before leaving and didn't need to stop for gas until halfway home. It averaged 35+ mpg without even trying.
Everything about it... the comfort, road manners, fuel economy... ALL OF THOSE. The Camry makes me wonder why I didn't get something like this sooner. Even the family prefers riding in it over the SUV.
