weird noise on my cousin's camry

my cousin's visiting my city and told me about his '24 Camry LE

he said he had to get both front wheel bearings fixed a few weeks ago, but now he's hearing a weird noise like thumping or something like that.

The noise happens when he's driving slowly, and after driving for a bit, like my 18 mile drive to work.

I'm not sure if it happens when the car is running on electric or gas. I can hear it from the driver's side wheel, but the sound might be coming from somewhere else.

What do you think this noise could be? Any ideas or advice would be great!

That thumping probably relates to the recent bearing job, have a quick check on these things:
Loose lug nuts, brake components not seated right, possible CV axle damage from being moved.
But I think your cousin needs to get it back to the original shop immediately. It's on them to check their work.

Yeah, I agree, sounds like it could be related to that job. It's a good idea to check those areas, but definitely take it back to the shop. Did they make sure to tighten the wheels properly after finishing the work?

sounds annoying for a new car!! anyway, that thumping sound might be related to the previous repair or an issue with the new bearings themselves.. have you tried taking it back to the shop that did the bearing replacement? I suggest you make the most out of your warranty while you still have it!

I get everyone what they're saying and trying to help, but it's a 2024 Camry, meaning that this is for the dealer to figure out. It's also important to see if the previous job the dealer did resulted in this noise, so @CoffeeAndTV you cousin should take the Camry to Toyota.

Yeah, I agree. It's probably best to let the dealer take care of it, mostly you know it might have something to do with what they did before
