Android auto not working

My android auto stopped working. i dont know what happened but it wont connect with my Samsung s24 plus. it was working great up until today when it wont connect at all. What would you suggest? What could be the problem? I already updated the software.

have you tried using another cable? this might solve the issue

Try using a different usb cable, clear android auto's cache in your phone settings, and restart both your phone and car system.

Have you tried resetting the android auto? You might want to factory reset it after the update

vouching for all that they said but so try to check your phone's settings, too. something must have changed possibly. or just at least try to re-pair the devices again. unpair and connect. done.

Has this been fixed?
If none of their ideas worked.. test with another phone if you can, so you can isolate the issue.
Try reinstalling your Android Auto app too.
