my camry came with those fancy Toyota warranties that last up to 7 years. It's all fine and dandy, but the battery is failing at around the 3 year mark, so does anyone have an idea how the warranty works and how much would I need to pay?

hmm. well far as I know the battery warranty is different in time frame but your 3 years is still counted. It's gotta be free. if not go sew. but wait, in the first place is your warranty a Toyota Plat plan or no. Otherwise it's gonna not count the batt and you need to pay $250 for a new one.

Toyota's 12V battery is usually covered for 2 years, so at 3 years, you're likely out of warranty, but the dealer might offer a small discount, best check directly with them.
