My wife's camry is going to pass 100K, I want to get the transmission fluid change and bought it to the dealer.
They said it's gonna cost around $800, is this for real? Is it really that expensive or they actually wants to scam me?

Yeah, I agree with @indi_runnah 800 bucks is way too much, even if the dealer uses that expensive Toyota oil. Even a full flush should cost less. Try to get a quote from a different dealer in your area

Honestly, $800 is just way too much for a transmission fluid change on a Camry. It should really be in the range of about $250 to $350 at most. It sounds like the dealer might have added some unnecessary charges. I'd reccommend getting a second quote from a reputable independent shop,you'll likely save a good amount of money and still get the same quality service
