my camry didn't come with the carplay feature with i found it to be nice to have so im looking for options. can i use the existing system and add the feature or will i need to go full aftermarket?
You might be able to add carplay with an interface module if your current system supports it. If not, you'll probably need an aftermarket head unit.my camry didn't come with the carplay feature with i found it to be nice to have so im looking for options. can i use the existing system and add the feature or will i need to go full aftermarket?
Depends on your system's software, which car model do you have?my camry didn't come with the carplay feature with i found it to be nice to have so im looking for options. can i use the existing system and add the feature or will i need to go full aftermarket?
it honestly depends on you whether you trust an aftermarket or you prefer oem. i'm thinking you most likely got the new ones and it's gotta have a software update ready. but if you're not willing to go through all the trouble of possible errors after the update then just get an aftermarket.my camry didn't come with the carplay feature with i found it to be nice to have so im looking for options. can i use the existing system and add the feature or will i need to go full aftermarket?
yeah that's exactly my point in my reply. it's not really worth the stress and fretting over.i wouldn't go through all the trouble so i go for throwing in an aftermarket head unit. It's just the faster option, otherwise, dealership should have helped..
